For over 36 years, the Gold Plate Dinner has been one of our city's most successful fundraising events. We have raised well over $2.5 million for various highly deserving charities and as hosts, we see this success as being a true reflection of the generosity of our community-minded guests and sponsors.

With an organizing committee led by Co-Chairs Nick Pantieras and Aik Aliferis (Marcus & Millichap), Constantine Gournakis, Wayne Kerrick (Gowling WLG), Bill Kontogiannis, and Tom Varvaresos (Vatika Consulting Group Inc.), Bessie Giovanopoulos, & Chris Anastasiou, (Publissimo Inc. Integrated Marketing Services) Our 2025 Gold Plate Dinner will be an unforgettable evening our community has come to expect.

Networking with Ottawa's best

This event is an opportunity to take part in an evening of passionate community building, networking and fundraising. Connect with leaders from every industry in your community, including building owners & management, financial institutions, law firms, real estate brokerage firms and local business owners.

Please join us on Tuesday, May 13th, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. as we support The University of Ottawa Heart Institute and The Hellenic Community of Ottawa's cultural and language programs. From our amazing networking reception to our exhilarating $30,000 elimination draw and our grand after-party, you do not want to miss this exquisite evening.

Helping Ottawa for 36 years

With the invaluable help of the Gold Plate Dinner Committee, volunteers and the overwhelming generosity of our sponsors, the event has helped Ottawa's Greek community maintain its distinctly Greek heritage and culture by funding programs for language and dance. Each year, we also choose a local charity in the Ottawa region to which we donate a portion of our proceeds. This strong focus on both the needs of the Hellenic Community as well as those of the Ottawa region have contributed to our event's ongoing success.

We continuously aspire to set new goals and meet new challenges. As always, we remain dedicated to supporting the Greek community in the Ottawa area and would like to thank everyone who has helped preserve the traditions and integrity of our culture. Thank you for your support.
